Materials:
Small amount of red and black size 10 thread
Hook: Steel hook size 6

Note:
Joining with a sc: Make a slip knot on the thread and sc in the stitch specified

Instructions:

Body (make two)
With black; ch4, join with sl st.

Ch1, 7sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.

Ch1. 2sc in each sc around (14 sc). Join. Cut and fasten off thread.

With red; join red to any black sc with a sc (counts as first sc), sc in same ch (two sc made in the black sc). 2sc in every sc around (28sc). Join with sl st in first sc.

(Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc in same stitch), hdc in next, dc in next 3 sc, 2trc in next, trc in next 6 sc, 2trc in next, dc in next 3 sc, hdc in next, 2hdc in next sc, sc in the remaining 10 sc. Join with sl st to first hdc. Cut and fasten off thread.

When you have made the two body parts, lay them with right sides together and join with 7 sl st (red thread). Start in the first dc (after the single hdc). Cut and fasten off thread.

Head
Join black to the 5th ch from joining body parts with a sc.

Sc in next ch, hdc in next, dc in the next two ch, trc in the joining, dc in the next two ch, hdc in next, sc in the next two ch. Head is 11 stitches wide. Turn (do not ch1).

One stitch in each ch: sc, hdc, dc, dc, trc, dc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st. Then ch1 and make a sl st in the next ch which is red. Turn (do not ch1).

Sc in the next 3 ch. Ch6, *sl st in 2nd ch from hood and across (total of 5 sl st made)*. Sc in the next 5 ch. Ch6, repeat from* to*. Sc in the last 3 ch. Two antennaes made. Sl st in the next ch (red). Cut and fasten off thread.

Marker

Attach black thread at the bottom of the body where the joining is with a sl st.

Chain 65. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Join with a sl st to the joining wher the marker started. Cut and fasten off thread.

Make tassel of red and black thread and fasten at the end of marker.
