Instructions (continued)
Finishing:
Turn the rectangle so that the cable section is at the bottom, and the seed
stitch section at the top. The cables are now traveling left to right
instead of top to bottom.
Block to 11”x 9.5”.
Fold the rectangle in half and sew the bottom and side seams. The dimensions
of the purse are now 5.5” wide x 9.5” long.
Ribbon Loops (make 4):
Cast on 5 stitches.
Row 1: K1 (P1, K1) twice.
Repeat Row 1 four more times.
Bind off.
Sew two ribbon loops to the top of the front and back of the bag so that
they span the stockinette stitch section. Weave the ribbon into the loops
and tie a bow.
