Round 45: Tapestry crochet 6 beaded blue, 7 beaded berry, then 1 beaded blue stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 46: Tapestry crochet 6 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 47: Tapestry crochet 1 beaded berry, 5 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 48: Tapestry crochet 2 beaded berry, 4 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 49: Tapestry crochet 3 beaded berry, 3 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 50: Tapestry crochet 4 beaded berry, 2 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 51: Tapestry crochet 5 beaded berry, 1 beaded blue, then 8 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 52: Load two boxes of emerald green beads onto the crystal cove thread with a beading needle. Push the beads down, leaving a yard-long piece without beads on the thread. Tapestry crochet 14 beaded berry, cut the carried blue thread and begin to carry the beaded crystal cove thread. Continue to crochet around with beaded berry stitches.

Round 53: Tapestry crochet 6 beaded berry, 1 crystal, then 7 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 54: Tapestry crochet 6 beaded berry, 2 crystal, then 6 beaded berry stitches. Repeat this sequence around.

Round 66: Tapestry crochet around with beaded crystal stitches.

Round 67: Pick up the carried thread and single crochet around with the two threads (without beading).

Finishing: Do a slip stitch, cut the threads (leaving 6 inch tails), then yarn over and pull them all the way through the loop. Work in the ends for two inches to secure them, then cut them flush. Turn the hat/basket inside out so that the beads are on the outside, then carefully steam iron the piece from the cloth side. Too much heat could break the beads, so take it easy. Now for the big decision: should the beads be on the outside or the inside of the hat/basket?
