Marjorie
started knitting and crocheting clothes for her dolls at age 7. The
next phase was a spurt of sewing and knitting in the teen years, followed
by a long break from crafts during the years of child-rearing and a career
in social work and teaching. Finally, an empty nest left time for
travel and a return to handicrafts: knitting, sewing and bead
crochet!
