Needlecraft Exchange

What's love got to do with it? Everything. To celebrate and honor our love of needlecrafts and community, Black Purl Magazine is hosting its second annual Love Of Needlecraft Exchange.

Through the Love Of Needlecraft Exchange, you have the opportunity to:

Meet other crafters
Give and receive a unique handmade gift
Help establish a world-wide community of needlecrafters

It's simple and fun to participate. Once you sign up, you'll be sent the name and address of someone who can't wait to receive your special gift. Simply commit to hand-crafting a small item and sending it between February 5 and February 28. Your gift can be any small item -- a cross-stitched bookmark, a quilt block or a knit hair clip, for example. If you'd like, include a little note or story about the piece you've sent and why you chose to send this particular item.

The deadline to sign up is January 31 at midnight EST. Your assigned recipient will be emailed to you no later than February 2, 2007.

Include Love of Exchange in the subject line
Your first and last name
Mailing address (if international, include country)
Email address (please double-check that you've entered your email address correctly)
Will you ship internationally if necessary? Please reply with "yes" or "no."

Note: We don't want anyone to be disappointed, so please sign up only if you are able to make the commitment to hand-craft and send a gift.
